How much does a small business website cost in Belgium?
At Atelier En·es, a custom, single-language website starts at €1,500. The small-business launch package is €2,400. It includes a custom design for up to five pages, publication in two languages, copywriting for up to five pages, adaptation and native-speaker review of the second language, a short video edit from your existing footage, setup or clean-up of your Google Business Profile, a domain name and hosting for the first year, a contact form, basic SEO and two rounds of revisions.
These prices describe the scope currently published here; every business has different needs. E-commerce, online booking, logo design, filming and a third language are not included. Clarify these requirements before comparing quotes.
What changes the quote?
The number of pages and content items, languages, custom features and condition of existing materials all affect the budget. A product catalogue, online payments, a third-party booking system or several page templates need more design, implementation and checking than a simple brochure site.
An additional language is listed at €400 for translation and adaptation of up to five pages, including a native-speaker review. Whether your copy and photography are ready, and who will approve the content, can also affect the schedule.
Ask for a launch-ready scope, not just a design
A clear quote states which pages will be created, who writes the content, which languages are included and how mobile layouts will be checked. Also ask about the domain, hosting, contact form, basic SEO, redirects, revision rounds and launch support.
Atelier En·es’ launch package takes three weeks from project kick-off once essential business details and images are provided. Payment is 50% upfront and 50% before launch. Work outside the agreed scope is priced separately so extra requests do not come as a surprise.
What does monthly maintenance cover?
Separate technical maintenance from ongoing content or feature work. Atelier En·es maintenance is €50/month for technical updates and routine checks; new copy, pages, design changes and features are quoted separately.
For the first 60 days after launch, technical defects within the agreed scope are fixed. That period does not mean free new content or features. Ask for the support period, what counts as a covered defect and whether maintenance is optional to be written down.
Compare the total value, not the lowest headline price
Compare quotes on the same scope: copy, languages, mobile checks, SEO foundations, domain and hosting, revisions and post-launch support. A very low starting price may leave out content, add necessary extras later or leave technical tasks for you to handle.
A small business does not need to launch every feature at once. Start with the pages customers need to find you, understand your offer and contact you. Add further features as their value becomes clear, so the budget follows real business priorities.
